Our Story
Dowell Hardware has deep roots in the Stephenville area. Our journey began in 1981 with the establishment of Dowell Water Well Service just outside of town. As our business grew, we recognized the need for a dedicated hardware section to better serve our customers. By 1995, Dowell Water Well Service was divided into two companies, and Dowell Hardware was officially formed.
Since the early 1990s, we have been committed to supplying our community with high-quality tools, equipment, and supplies for all their home improvement and construction needs. In 2000, we took a significant step forward by moving into Stephenville, expanding our store to its current size, and increasing our product offerings to better serve our customers.
